Turning Point T2 Slough: Offers a fast, accessible and confidential service with full assessment for anyone in the Slough area who wants to reduce, stabilise or stop using drugs. Individuals will be able to talk to a project worker in confidence who can provide information, advice, and support. After the assessment, a care plan will be developed to help make positive changes.

Turning Point Slough DIP (Drug Intervention Programme) : Slough DIP has a team of arrest referral / through care and aftercare workers and a PPO prison link worker. A prescribing clinic is available and clients are key worked through their first 12 weeks of treatment after release from custody, before being referred onto suitable agencies for their drug free recovery.

CRI: CRI now provide the psychosocial interventions to adults (18 years+) in East Berkshire with drug and/or alcohol issues with the aim of supporting individuals to break free from harmful patterns of behaviour. The client might access CRI as a primary treatment intervention or as part of a wider treatment package. CRI works on a satellite basis out of Slough T2 Turning Point - you need to be referred to this service.

SMART: SMART now deliver elements of the specialist prescribing service formally provided by BDASS across for East Berkshire. SMART will deliver Clinic support with the prescribing doctors, One to one care planned sessions, and onward referrals for opiate dependant clients. REFERRALS should be made from T2 who will complete a triage assessment and refer to SMART staff.
For alcohol clients, SMART staff will complete an assessment to identify priority needs as well as one to one brief interventions (including a reduction program) for alcohol clients. A specialist nurse will help to provide a community detox or referral for an impatient detox as appropriate
REFERRALS from GP's and Tier 1 Professionals should be sent to SMART at T2 (fax: 01753 528760).

Equinox Project 316: Located in the heart of Slough, Project 316 offers a twelve week residential community drug stabilisation and structured treatment programme for those drug users who are homeless and willing to engage. Individuals who have drug problems, are willing to engage with the programme, and are motivated to address their substance misuse can become resident at Equinox. Access to this service will be through T2 Turning Point Key workers.

There is also support for young people aged between 13 - 19 years of age. This service is provided by the Health Improvement Team at Slough Borough Council.
The Health Improvement Team: The Health Improvement Team work with a number of partner organisations to deliver integrated support to young people aged 13-19 living in Slough. We provide a number of services aimed at both preventing young people's involvement with drugs, alcohol and risky sexual behaviour, and supporting those already involved to prevent issues from escalating.
